I just bought the Kindle Oasis in the luxe champagne gold color and wanted to appreciate the beauty and ergonomics of the device while also keeping it safe. This case has the very handy clear strap on the back which is genius! The fad now is to decorate the back with a popsocket there, but this strap is actually more comfortable for ease of use/grasp. You can slide it flat, then pull it out as needed. It also has a gold, circular adornment at the end which looks like it can be opened to clasp onto something. I have no intention of using it that way- it just makes it look all the more fancy and attractive dangling there as is. I am very much enjoying holding the Kindle Oasis with one hand using the strap and easily pressing the page turning buttons with my thumb on that side. This kind of case doesn't add much weight to the device and lets you easily use the Kindle Oasis as intended- holding it in one hand. I had some stickers and decorated the back of my device, but every time I tried putting this cover on they would move around, so I just added a tiny bit of cellophane tape to the back of the stickers and that kept them there. This case is very sturdy and of high quality. It has the extra padding/bumpers around all four edges for protection. I am thrilled with this case and have no intentions of buying any others (which I often do). If you like to use the feature of making the cover of the book you're reading the "resting screen" when the device is off (you can do this on late model kindle devices when you pay the twenty bucks to have no ads), you'll want a cover like this to show off the screen. Highly recommended!
